Indian handicraft, embroidered woollen from Bangladesh and Pakistan and exotic cuisines today emerged as the visitors' favourite at the 27th edition of the Delhi Commonwealth Women's Association (DCWA) International Bazaar here.

Lucky draws for airline tickets and gift hampers were another attraction at the fund raiser event for the enthusiasts who thronged the sprawling lawns of the Hotel Ashok since morning.

The annual extravaganza this time had participation from 45 high commissions and embassies which would pass on the proceeds to the DCWA for carrying out its social service activities. Apart from the diplomatic community, there were 36 stalls and 56 canopies allotted to others on rent, said a coordinator of the DCWA International Bazaar.

The funds raised by the bazaar will be used for medical centre, pre-school and school for children with special needs at Zamrudpur.
