DU’s SGTB Khalsa College launches commercial syllabus
New Delhi, July 21
Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa has opened Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (DDU) Kaushal Kendra for employment oriented courses.
DSGMC president Manjit Singh (GK) said that SGTB Khalsa is Delhi University’s first college to establish DDU Kaushal Kendra (KK).
KK has been authorised for five undergraduate and four postgraduate degrees. Diploma and advanced diploma courses will be available for duration ranging from six months to three years. The main subjects are multimedia, forensic science, mass media, computer science and e-taxation and e-accounting.
Manjinder Singh Sirsa, DSGMC general secretary and BJP MLA, said that it has been opened for the Delhi students, who score 90 per cent in Class 12, yet don’t get admission due to lack of colleges. — TNS
