New Delhi, September 4
A jeweller was allegedly murdered with his throat slit at his house in Delhi's Dwarka Dabri area on Tuesday night.
The jeweller’s son, who was sleeping next to him woke up at 2.30 am and raised an alarm after he found him in a pool of blood.
Lalit Aggarwal, 37, ran his jewellery shop “Satyam Jewellers” at the ground floor of the house, while the family were residing at the first floor. The police have denied any robbery angle.
DCP (Dwarka) Anto Alphanso said he was attacked with a knife. “Aggarwal was shifted to Aakash Hospital where he was declared brought dead. We have registered a case of murder,” the DCP said. — TNS
