Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and his team lied about his postponing the proposed indefinite fast against sealing, said the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT).

A statement issued by the AAP yesterday said that Kejriwal was urged by several trader associations to withdraw his decision of sitting on hunger strike for the time being as the Supreme Court is going to hear the case on day-to-day basis.

“We have inquired from Trade Associations of Delhi, no one has appealed him to postpone the fast”, said CAIT general secretary, Parveen Khandelwal.

The court case has been lying in the court for a long time and even at the time of his declaration, the case was already pending.

CAIT have also questionned all seven Delhi MPs on maintaining complete silence on sealing. They should have taken up the issue with the BJP-led Central Government.  – TNS
