SKM to gherao homes of ruling party MLAs, MPs in Punjab, Haryana from today

Even as Opposition parties, including the Congress, lent support to the farmers in their protest against the delay, the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) announced to gherao the residences of BJP-JJP MLAs and MPs across Haryana from tomorrow till October 11. “Postponing procurement is a government ploy to force the farmers to sell their crop to private players at a price below the MSP,” said Jagdeep Singh Aulakh, a member of BKU-Charuni’s state core committee.
