Chandigarh, May 9

Indian Meteorological Department reported thundershowers with gusty winds across the tricity on Sunday. While Zirakpur witnessed a dust storm late afternoon, Mohali saw heavy rainfall.

A bout of rain swept through Chandigarh and Panchkula as well.

According to the Meteorological Department forecast, thunderstorm and lightning accompanied by gusty winds of up to 30-40 kmph.
