Q. I am 52 years old with more than 25 years of experience in some major MNCs and my job included mentoring/training which I particularly enjoyed. I want to take up psychology as my area of interest and do MA in psychology from IGNOU. Can I do a follow up PhD from IGNOU as well? What will be my options for long term?

A. What a wonderful idea of putting your time and experience to good and productive use…!
While there’s absolutely no harm doing in MA Psychology from IGNOU (and a PhD subsequently), but a shorter route would be to acquire a reputed Certification in Life Coaching or alternatively, undertake career mentoring based on your years of experience in the corporate sector.
Your advice would be invaluable to young job seekers as well as those who are seeking to build and enhance their careers…! Corporate training would be yet another option.
