Pak plane attacked
Islamabad: A woman was killed in a firing incident on a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane while it was preparing to land at Peshawar's Bacha Khan Airport late on Tuesday. The PIA Boeing, with around 170 passengers onboard, was arriving from Riyadh, The Dawn reported, adding that two flight stewards have also been injured in the incident. � IANS
North set to miss July 1 date with monsoon
New Delhi, June 24
The much-awaited monsoon is all set to miss its July 1 date with northwest India as it has a entered a �weak phase�. The revival of the monsoon current is likely in the first week of July, said D. Sivananda Pai, head of IMD�s Long Range Forecasting Division.
