Operation Sindoor: Many airports in North shut, flights cancelled
Authorities have closed down several airports in northern India including Srinagar, officials said on Wednesday morning.

According to Misri, the attackers shot the victims in the forehead in front of
Srinagar Airport authorities said in a statement that the airfield is closed and today no civil flights will be operated from Srinagar Airport.
Several Airlines issued a travel advisory as India launched a strike inside POK and Pakistan on early Wednesday morning.
Air India said in view of the prevailing situation, the airliner has cancelled all its flights to and from the following stations – Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Chandigarh and Rajkot – till 12 noon on 7 May, “pending further updates from authorities.”
“Two international flights en-route to Amritsar are being diverted to Delhi. We regret the inconvenience caused due to this unforeseen disruption,” the airlines said on X.

Spice Jet said due to the ongoing situation, airports in parts of northern India, including Dharamshala , Leh , Jammu , Srinagar , and Amritsar , are closed until further notice. Departures, arrivals, and consequential flights may be impacted.
Indigo, also said due to evolving airspace restrictions, flight schedules may be impacted. “Please check your flight status before heading to the airport,” it said.
