Rajvir Jawanda, Punjabi singer, succumbs to injuries days after Himachal road accident

What adds an even more heartbreaking layer to the tragedy is the revelation about his wife’s emotional plea just hours before the fatal accident.

According to close friends of the late singer, Rajvir’s wife had strongly urged him not to go on the motorcycle trip that ultimately cost him his life. Concerned for his safety, she reportedly asked him to stay home, sensing the risks involved. Despite her repeated requests, Rajvir decided to proceed with his ride to Shimla, riding his powerful 1300cc motorcycle — a passion he often documented on social media.

Tragically, his wife’s fears came true. During the ride near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, Rajvir collided with stray cattle on the road, resulting in severe head and spinal injuries. He was rushed to Fortis Hospital in Mohali and remained in critical condition for over 11 days, under constant medical supervision. Despite doctors’ best efforts, he suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away on Wednesday morning.

A close friend, speaking to a Daily Post, revealed that Rajvir’s wife had pleaded with him not to leave the house that day. Her instincts, now hauntingly accurate, have left the family overwhelmed with grief.

"She told him not to go... but he didn’t listen," the friend shared, reflecting the deep sorrow the family is grappling with.

Rajvir Jawanda, known for chart-topping tracks like "Kali Jawande Di", "Sardari", and "Mera Dil", had built a successful career in music and film. But behind the fame and glamour was a devoted family man whose final moments have now become a heartbreaking memory for his wife, one she had desperately tried to prevent.
