Navjot tweeted: “Consensus among MLAs, Badal Sarkar is ruling in lieu of Congress Govt ... Bureaucracy and Police act as per wishes of Badal Family, more often than listening to our MLAs and Party workers. Govt run not for welfare of the People, but for continuing control of Mafia Raj  #75-25”.

Sidhu for the past many days has been attacking Capt over the delay in probe in the 2015 Kotkapura firing incident.

He has accused the chief minister of having a friendly match between the Congress government and the Badals.

He had to resign from Cabinet in 2019 after he openly spoke of the alleged friendly match.

Congress MLAs and some ministers are said have met Sidhu and “group” against the chief minister over the issue.
