Rating: ***

Sonam Bajwa’s character Laado is author-backed and the actress gets full marks for delivering a power-packed performance. She de-glamourised herself for the role. As for Ajay Sarkaria, who plays Harry, struggles to get the right expressions but lacks depth. While the first half is pacy, the second-half takes it to another level, though the climax is somewhat predictable.

Some scenes at times look unnecessarily stretched but the songs are well placed and have a recall value. Sonam Bajwa’s theth Punjabi dialogues are interesting. Gurnam Bhullar and debutant Raj Shoker are more impressive than the lead hero. The movie has a new playlist to offer. The opening song, Gora Gora Rang Jatta Akh Mastani, breaks the ice for the audience that holds the clue to the climax. It makes for a one-time watch, at least watch it for Laado.
