Mayor Davesh Moudgil, along with area councillor Rajesh Gupta, inaugurated an open-air gym at a ‘mohalla park’ in Sector 33 C here today.
Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor gave tips on how to exercise and stay fit to those who attended the function, senior citizens in particular. He said Rs 2.4 lakh was spent on the gym equipment.
On the occasion, the Mayor also heard the problems of the residents and assured all help. He instructed officials present to take immediate steps to resolve the issues faced by the area residents.
“If residents want any development or new facility, they can come up with a proposal, which can be forwarded to me through area councillor Rajesh Gupta. Funds will be provided for the purpose,” the Mayor said.
