Boy’s body found in tank

Hamirpur, October 19

The body of a 7-year-old boy was found in a water tank at Nadaun near here today.

Rahul Kumar, son of Uday Singh, migrant labourer, had been living here from the past few months.

The parents of the boy reported the missing of their child yesterday.

The police said the body had been sent for the postmortem to the Zonal Hospital, Hamirpur, and they were also investigating on all possibilities of the death of the child.

Ajay Bodh, Superintendent of Police, said a case had been registered and investigations had been initiated to find out the cause of the death.
