ESI Hospital pays water bill

Amritsar, May 12

The ESI Hospital paid Rs 41 lakh against its water and sewerage bills to the Municipal Corporation here on Friday. The MC had disconnected the water connection last month. Narinder Kaur Sekhon, Medical Superintendent, ESI Hospital, handed over a cheque to the MC officials. The civic body has assured the ESI officials that the connection will be reinstalled soon. The water supply and sewerage wing of the MC has been issuing notices and snapping connections of defaulters. — TNS
