Job fair at Mahuana village

Malout: The district administration on Friday conducted a job fair at the State Institute of Automotive and Driving Skills (SIADS) at Mahuana village here. Deputy Speaker-cum-MLA Malout Ajaib Singh Bhatti was the chief guest on the occasion, who handed over job letters to youngsters. However, during the job fair, some candidates told mediapersons that they had given interviews and selected for jobs about a fortnight ago but the offer letters were given today. Under the state government’s ‘Ghar Ghar Naukri’ project, such job fairs are being organised across the state on a regular basis. Youth often term such endeavours inadequate.TNS
