Man arrested for murder

New Delhi, August 16

A man, identified as Rajkumar, held today for stabbing his sister-in-law and nephew to death in Paharganj, said a police official.

Yesterday, Rajkumar stabbed his sister-in-law, Kaushalaya, and two nephews — Purushottam (30) and Rohit (25) — with a sharp-edged kitchen knife. Purushottam was found lying in the pool of blood. Kaushalaya and Rohit were taken to Lady Hardinge Medical College Hospital where the former was declared dead. Rohit is admitted to Safdarjung hospital and his condition is stated to be critical, said the official.

Rajkumar is a bad character and has been to jail several times. Yesterday, he had a fight with Kaushalaya and Purushottam on some issue and attacked them while they were sleeping in the night. 

He was arrested from the New Delhi Railway Station.— TNS
