Monsoon is Here

The monsoon arrived in the tricity on Friday night, bringing relief to residents. The Met Department has issued a warning of heavy thundershowers in the next 24 hours.

The maximum temperature recorded in the city on Friday was 35.3°C, one degree below normal, while the minimum temperature was 24.8°C.

Met Director Surinder Pal Singh said humidity was expected to increase in the city in the coming days.
