High altitude tribal areas experienced first moderate snowfall of the season while mid and lower hills experienced moderate rains. The sky remained heavily overcast and day temperatures dropped marginally, but people in the lower hills reeled under sultry heat.

Governor Acharya Devvrat had to cancel his three-day visit of Lahaul and Spiti as his helicopter could not land due to inclement weather and returned to Rampur from Karchham and later flew to Shimla. The local MeT office has warned of heavy rain at isolated places in the lower and mid hills over the next 48 hours. The MeT office also predicted rain or snowfall in the higher hills and tribal areas over the next six days and also rain and thundershowers in the mid and lower hills.

Moderate to heavy rain occurred in several parts of the state and Renuka in Sirmaur district with 95 mm rain, Sunni and Kheri received 40 mm and 30 mm rain. Nahan and Pachhad recorded 25 mm and 23 mm rain.
