CM meets FM, seeks early clearance for projects

Shimla, November 21

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur called on Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at New Delhi today and requested for support and speedy clearances for externally aided projects.

Discussions were held on Shimla, Manali, Dharamsala ropeways and Overhead Mass Rapid Transport System projects list of which was submitted to the Centre and sought technical assistance for Adaptive Forest Management for Water Security to Safeguard Livelihood project. Sitharaman assured the CM of all assistance. Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Thakur also joined the discussions. — TNS
