  • The Centre stated it received no complaints from Punjab about BBMB water distribution. The High Court dismissed Punjab's plea regarding water allocation to Haryana. The Centre claims water distribution is handled by a technical committee, while Punjab recently challenged BBMB's water allocation to Haryana, alleging illegality.

  • Punjab will soon purchase 650 fully-built buses directly from manufacturers to ensure transparency. The Transport Department needs 400 buses for PRTC and 250 for Punbus. A vigilance probe, related to body fabrication during the previous government, delayed the purchase. The government aims for transparent procurement and might consider local bus body fabrication.

  • The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) will hold events in Delhi for Guru Teg Bahadur's 350th martyrdom, despite the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) already planning events in Anandpur Sahib. The Punjab government also has announced parallel events, reflecting political competition between groups.
