Workshop on life skills for teachers

Ludhiana: Blossoms Convent School, Sidhwan Bet road, Jagraon, hosted a life skill workshop for teachers under the guidance of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).



Ludhiana: Blossoms Convent School, Sidhwan Bet road, Jagraon, hosted a life skill workshop for teachers under the guidance of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). As many as 82 teachers across the district participated in the workshop. Jaswinder Kaur, principal of DAV School, BRS Nagar; and Harpreet Kaur, principal of Green Valley School, Machhiwara, were the resource persons for the workshop. They discussed various teaching techniques which would prove beneficial for teachers.

Darshan Academy completes 25 years

Darshan Academy celebrated its silver jubilee. To mark this day, 25 balloons were released in the air. The festivities commenced with Ganesha vandana to seek blessings. Other items such as sufi songs, ghazal , qawalis and classical dances were also performed.

Tiny tots prepare sprouts

Tiny tots of Police DAV Public School were familiarised with health benefits of sprouts. during a special assembly. Kids were also told various methods to prepare sprouts. Neeraj Puri, kindergarten coordinator, motivated students to eat healthy meals. 

Kids learn to count through ice-cream

Tiny tots of Small Wonders Preschool were taught how to count through a role-playing activity. To fulfil the purpose, an ice-cream studio setup was organised on the campus. Kids were offered flavours of chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, blueberry and banana to practice counting when they were asked about the number of scoops they wanted.

Training programme for kg teachers

BCM School, Chandigarh Road, organised a training programme for kindergarten teachers under the aegis of Tata Class Edge. Monica Dhir, an eminent educationist and an experienced trainer, was the resource person. She acquainted teachers with varied learning styles of students and gave them tips to deal with various behavioural issues. TNS
