Reasi SSP orders timely disposal of cases

Reasi Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohita Sharma on Wednesday instructions to the police officials for time bound disposal of all pending cases without compromising the quality of investigation.

She also stressed to pay special attention on cybercrime complaints, non-cognizable reports and women related complaints thoroughly and directed them to address these issues on top priority besides maintenance of police station record and quality investigation.

The SSP chaired an introductory meeting with police officials of the district and urged upon them to work with dedication and enthusiasm to ensure that effective working system is place.

She stressed the need for teamwork and directed every officer to exhibit dedication and professionalism and ensure effective measures to enhance the safety and security of general public and directed every officer to maintain open communication, keeping their doors always open for the general public so that they can easily reach out with their concerns.

During the meeting, a threadbare discussion was held on issues related to security. The SSP urged the participating officers to personally ensure briefing/ de-briefing to the security deployment and remain extra vigilant.

During the meeting cases registered under UAPA/ NDPS, heinous crime, crime against women were reviewed and discussed and stress was laid to make rigorous efforts to finalisation of investigation of such cases on merit within stipulated time.

The officers were also directed to have a close liaison with security forces and other sister agencies working in the district for better coordination and synergy.
