Mohali, February 18

On the last day of campaigning, former Mayor of Mohali and AAP candidate Kulwant Singh campaigned in Sector 68, Phase 4.

Addressing residents, Kulwant said in order to permanently eliminate unemployment and corruption, maintain law and order and to improve health services, his party would be voted to power by Punjabis since they knew only AAP could do it. There was a need for major reforms in the education system, he added.

Kulwant Singh said the people of Punjab felt the need of bringing the Delhi model by Arvind Kejriwal to the state Punjab.

Meanwhile, members of the Pensioners Welfare Association, Punjab, and the Unemployed Youth Association decided to support Kulwant, A delegation, led by Baldev Singh Dhillon, vice-president of the Pensioners Welfare Association, met Kulwant and demanded that the Punjab Government should ensure the release of instalment of pensioners’ DA at the time of Central Government’s DA.
