CSIO transfers dust mitigation technology to private firm



Chandigarh, January 10

The Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO), Chandigarh, today transferred the technology of “Electrostatic Dust Mitigation and Smog Control Device” to a Yamunanagar-based firm.

The technology has been developed under a project sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. The agreement was signed by Vimal Saini and Sushant Saini on behalf of Cloud Tech Private Limited, Yamunanagar, and by Dr Surendra Singh Saini, Head, Business Initiatives and Project Planning, CSIO.

Suppression of dust was very necessary to live a healthy life from communicable diseases such as respiratory disorders. Moreover, dust also creates hindrance in operation of machinery and industries. — TNS
