BATHINDA: Four MBA students of the Post-graduate Studies Department, Punjabi University Regional Centre (PURC), Bathinda, were selected by a reputed retail chain firm for training.

Four MBA students of the Post-graduate Studies Department, Punjabi University Regional Centre (PURC), Bathinda, were selected by a reputed retail chain firm for training.

Anmol, Shashwat, Arshdeep and Sapandeep Kaur of MBA 1st year were shortlisted by the firm for training where they will be provided practical hands-on experience regarding different management processes.

The Future group is the country’s leading retail chain, which has retail stores across India. The Pantaloons, Big Bazaar, Easyday all belong to the group.

Balwinder Kaur Sidhu, head, Post Graduate Studies Department, said the training would enable the students to gain practical and market-related knowledge and of their field which would be of great help in their placements. — TNS
