Barnala: Residents from Khudi Kalan village on Tuesday protested against the Food and Civil Supplies Department for deleting their names from the lists of beneficiaries of various social welfare schemes.



Barnala: Residents from Khudi Kalan village on Tuesday protested against the Food and Civil Supplies Department for deleting their names from the lists of beneficiaries of various social welfare schemes.

“We will intensify our agitation if the authorities fail to restore our names in lists as we are eligible. Our names have been deleted without conducting any proper inquiry,” said Harbans Singh, one of the protesters. — TNS
