Students told about ways to deal with stress

The counselling cell of Khalsa College for Women held a special workshop on ‘Stress Bursting Strategies for Holistic Health’ for faculty and students. 

Sujata, a wellness consultant from Singapore apprised the participants of various dimensions of holistic health such as physical wellbeing, mental resilience, relationships, personal beliefs etc. She further warned about the negative effects of stress, burnout and emphasized on good diet.

Hollywood movie shot at GHG Khalsa College ‘Barefoot Warriors’, a Hollywood movie under the  Minhas Banners based on Indian football history was shot at the GHG Khalsa, College, Gurusar Sadhar. 

Principal Dr SS Deol and Management Committee threw light on the extremely talented cast of the film consisting of lead actor from Mission Impossible–3 Sean Farris along with Darren Tassell, Rajpal Yadav, Mukul Dev, Drishti Grewal, Rajen Toor, Kavi Raz, Yograj Singh and Jobanpreet Singh.

 He further added that as a matter of great pride Sukhpal Singh Sekhon, an alumnus of the college is also a part of the production team of the film being shot in the college.
