Gold, silver worth Rs 60 lakh recovered

Jammu: A team of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Jammu, carried out searches in the houses of BS Dua (retired GM, Small Scale Industries Development Corporation Limited), Jasvinder Singh Dua (MD, J&K Handicrafts Corporation) and AK Khullar (retired MD, SICOP), and recovered gold and silver worth more than Rs 60 lakh and Rs 9.57 lakh in cash. During the course of search in the house of Dua, the ACB team seized gold ornaments weighing 1.834 kg worth approximately Rs 68 lakh, 1.470 kg of silver worth Rs 70,000 (approximately) and Rs 9, 57,400 in cash. Dua had also constructed a palatial double-storey house on a plot measuring 2 kanals in the posh Nanak Nagar area. oc
