The first day of GGSMUN 2022 began with zeal and vigour. The opening ceremony marked the commencement, the school hosted over 250 delegates. IAS & Motivational speaker Vivek Atray and Director of Hartek Towers Simarpreet Singh graced the opening ceremony with their presence as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor. The opening ceremony consisted of various cultural events including an eye-opening dance highlighting the plight of women in our society. Principal Nina Pandey shared her words of wisdom with the delegates, and the Secretary-General Anusha Verma formally declared GGSMUN open. The delegates then proceeded to their committees and so began the debate and deliberations. The first day was power-packed and ended on a positive note, it proved to be the perfect start to the three day conference.
