Woman among 3 booked for killing husband

TARN TARAN: The Goindwal Sahib police have booked Manjit Kaur, a resident of Dhunda village, 30 km from here, along with her brother and brother-in-law, on the charge of murdering her husband Sarabjit Singh Sabba.

The Goindwal Sahib police have booked Manjit Kaur, a resident of Dhunda village, 30 km from here, along with her brother and brother-in-law, on the charge of murdering her husband Sarabjit Singh Sabba. 

The police have booked all the accused under Sections 302 and 34 of the IPC.

Sarabjit Singh was found dead under mysterious circumstances on August 12 at his house. 

The other accused have been identified as Rajesh Singh of Khakh village and Raj Kumar of Goindwal Sahib. 

The police had registered a case on the complaint of Amarjit Singh, brother of deceased Sarabjit Singh. He said the accused Rajesh Singh took Rs 1.3 lakh from Sarabjit Singh some time back. 

As the latter was demanding his money back, the accused in connivance with others killed my brother, alleged Amarjit Singh. 

Manjit Kaur was not at home at the time of the incident, investigating officer Baljinder Singh said.
