56 Scouts & Guides selected for national award

BATHINDA: As many as 56 students, who were part of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, primary wing, have been selected for the national award.

As many as 56 students, who were part of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, primary wing, have been selected for the national award. The students are currently studying in primary schools located in Malkana, Lehra Mohabbat, Burj Kahan Singh Wala, Jandirana, Talwandi Sabo, Kothe Inder Singh Wala and Bathinda city.

Of the 56 students,13 are girls. Appreciating the efforts put in by the students and their trainer teachers, District Education Officer (DEO) (Secondary) Khushvir Singh, DEO (Primary) Jaspreet Singh and Deputy DEO Harnek Singh congratulated the students and teachers.

Eight students are of Government Elementary School, Malkana; two boys from Khalsa School, Talwandi Sabo; eight students from Lala Singh Basti, Lehra Mohabbat; three students from Burj Kahan Singh Wala; nine boys and six girls from Parasram Nagar, Bahinda city; 10 boys from Jangirana; three boys and seven girls from Kothe Inder Singh.

Amritpal Singh Brar and Ranjit Brar said the National Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides would soon felicitate the students.
