The UT police are yet to make any headway in a case in which two youths opened fire at bouncers after they were denied entry into a club in Sector 26. They have failed to make any arrest so far.

Two unidentified miscreants had opened fire at two bouncers after they were denied entry into Play Ground, a discotheque in Sector 26, around 1.25 am on Saturday. Around six bullets hit the gate of the discotheque. No one was injured in the firing.

Police officials said they were scrutinising the footage of CCTV cameras installed outside nearby showrooms.

“The Splendor motorcycle on which the suspects had fled can lead us to them. The footage of CCTV cameras in the area is being checked to get the registration number of the motorcycle,” said a police official.

The police have the footage of cameras installed outside the club in which the images of both suspects have been captured. Police sources said there were various other leads which they were working on.
