ZIRAKPUR: The Punjab Police have lauded the gesture of a city resident who volunteered to make way for an ambulance in a traffic bottleneck at VIP Road here.

The Punjab Police have lauded the gesture of a city resident who volunteered to make way for an ambulance in a traffic bottleneck at VIP Road here.

“Punjab Police acknowledge the gesture made by city resident Sahil Dutt, whose timely act saved a patient who was being ferried in an ambulance,” the police said in a Facebook post. “There are times when cops are not present, but good Samaritans like Dutt volunteer to tackle such situations,” the police said, urging people to follow in his footsteps and become role models for society. — TNS
