Science exhibition concludes

The 47th State-Level Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition for Children - 2019 organised by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Sector 32, in collaboration with the NCERT, New Delhi, concluded here today.

Cash prizes amounting to Rs 5,100, Rs 3,100, Rs 2,100 were distributed among the winners, while consolation prize of Rs 500 was given to the remaining participants.

Under the ‘Sustainable Agriculture Practices’ theme, Aryan from Chitkara International School, Sector 25, and Sukhmanjit Kaur, GMSSS-33, won the first prize.

The other first prize winners were Ronak from GMSSS-47, Samaira from Carmel Convent, Sector 9, Himanshu from GMHS-41, Mannat Chaudhary from GMSSS-16, Manmeet Rahi from St Jospeh School, Sector 44, Tanisha from Carmel Convent, Sector 9, Siddhant Aggarwal from DPS, Sparsh Mittal from Saupins School, Diksha Sainu from GMSSS, Dhanas, and Amit Sharma from GSSS-45. — TNS
