Chandigarh, February 18

Referring to a report that 65 per cent doctors have serious health problems, spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar today asked them to take up yoga, meditation and pranayama.

Addressing a gathering during a wellness and yoga conclave at the National Institute of Nursing Education (NINE) auditorium in the PGI, he said, “Doctors take care of others but they should also take care of themselves. In a conference, it was shared that 65 per cent have serious health issues. It is not inspiring. They should do yoga, meditation and pranayama. The world is taking lead in it, but we are lagging behind.”

Answering a query from the audience, he said intuition could not be wrong. He also described what a successful person meant to him. “A person always having a smile on the face — it is a sign of being successful. Even a fool can have much money, but it does not mean he is successful. If one is confident, happy and able to give to others, he is successful,” he added.
