CHANDIGARH:An all-round show helped Sector 16 Cricket Academy register a 145-run win over Mohali Cricket Association in the ongoing GS Banga Memorial U-19 Cricket Tournament here on Thursday.

An all-round show helped Sector 16 Cricket Academy register a 145-run win over Mohali Cricket Association in the ongoing GS Banga Memorial U-19 Cricket Tournament here on Thursday. 

Opting to bat, Cricket Academy scored 260/8 in 50 overs, with useful contributions from Manav Malik (45), Vaibhav Kalta (40) and Sarik Khan (30). Surya Naryan Yadav made 29 runs at the top of the innings and shared a 61-run stand with Malik.     

Needing to score 5.22 runs per over for victory, Mohali Cricket Association lost wickets at regular intervals to fold up on 115. Yadav claimed three wickets, while Arbab bagged two wickets. Waheguru (24) was the top scorer for Mohali Cricket Association. — TNS
