Twin medals for Arnav in gymnastics

Chandigarh, May 20

Arnav Nathani of Saupin’s School, Sector 32, clinched two gold medals on the opening day of the maiden Tricity Inter School Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament at the Sector 7 Sports Complex here today. Nathani topped in the U-14 vault and artistic events. 

Meanwhile, in the boys’ U-10 floor exercise, Ayush Agarwal finished on top with 7.80 points. He was followed by Ankit (7.50 points) in second place. Arpit and Neev Sood scored six points each to share the third spot. 

Udhat Sharma scored 7.50 points to win the U-10 vault table event. Ankit (6 points) bagged the silver, while Ayush Agarwal (5.80 points) had to content with a bronze medal.  — TNS
