New Delhi, July 4

Reacting against the verdict of Supreme Court on confrontation between the Delhi government and Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, state BJP president Manoj Tiwari said this was a categorical, logical and firm judgment which had established that the Constitution was the boss of Delhi.

The judgment is the last warning to the Kejriwal government that it should work under the contour of the Constitution and the system established by law and desist from anarchist behaviour.

It makes functioning of LG, elected govt clear

DPCC president Ajay Maken said the Supreme Court had made the functioning of Lieutenant Governor and the elected government in Delhi clear. There should be no excuse in carrying out the developments works.

Maken said, “The Kejriwal government and the Lt Governor had been kicking around Delhiites like a football. They should stop it now”. Kejriwal should stop making excuses for not doing any work, and the AAP government should carry out the development works for which the people have elected them with absolute majority.
