Fog hits air traffic

CHANDIGARH: As many as 13 national and international flights were hit due to fog today.

As many as 13 national and international flights were hit due to fog today. While two national flights were cancelled, one international and 10 national flights were delayed. The Met Department has warned of dense fog for next three days with the visibility likely to remain less than 50m. The Kalka-New Delhi Shatabdi (12005) also arrived 3 hours 30 minutes late.

The Air India flight (IX187) from Chandigarh to Sharjah delayed by an hour and 14 minutes.

As per the weatherman, the minimum temperature was recorded at 8.7 degree Celsius, which is two notches below. The maximum temperature was recorded at 25.2 degree Celsius, two notches above the normal.

On Friday, maximum temperature is likely to remain 24 degree Celsius while the minimum is expected to remain around 8 degree Celsius.
