Governor sends flowers, ‘chaadar’ to Ajmer Sharif

Governor KK Paul today sent a ‘chaadar’ and flowers for the 805th annual Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at his “Dargah” (Ajmer Sharif), praying for peace, happiness and prosperity of the hill state.

He greeted all “zaayreens” who will gather for the Urs from all parts of the country and abroad. He said Sufi saints had given us the message of peace, harmony and brotherhood which were symbolic of national unity and social harmony . He said the service rendered to humanity by “Gareeb Nawaaz” would inspire all of us.

The “chaadar” and flowers presented by the Governor will be carried to Ajmer Sharif by the Urs organiser at Kaliyar Sharif and the secretary of Uttarakhand Nagrik Samman aur Sadbhaav Samiti Afzal Manglauri.
