Powerlifting team selected

Chandigarh, December 23

The Chandigarh Powerlifting Association has selected the junior men’s and masters powerlifting team to represent the Chandigarh team in the forthcoming Junior Men and Masters National Powerlifting Championship to be held at Jammu and Kashmir from January 5 to 10.

The selection committee shortlisted the team after observing the performance of selected players during a coaching camp.

The selected team members (junior) are: Ricky Panday, Vijay Kumar, Rohit, Ajay Kumar, Japjeet Singh, Amit Kumar, Harpreet Singh, Nitish Kapila, Amarjot Singh, Rohan Pathak. Masters: Gurinder Singh (Masters-II) and Jagdish Singh Bajwa (Masters-III). Officials: Kamaldeep Singh (coach) and Jagdish Singh Saini (manager).
