The cancellation of trains due to operational reasons and delayed run of most of the long-route trains has become a regular feature in the prevailing weather condition and there seems to be no respite for passengers.

Meanwhile, several long-route trains running behind schedule further added to the misery of rail travellers.

As per official information, the 13005 Howrah-Amritsar Mail was late by 1-.40 hours, 18101 Tatanagar-Jammu Tawi by 5 hours, 12413 Ajmer-Jammu Tawi Puja Superfast Express by 4.40 hours, 14674 Amritsar-Jaynanagr Shaheed Express by 3.55 hours, 18237 Bilaspur-Amritsar Chhattisgarh Express by 3.50 hours, 14612 Amritsar-Gorakhpur Jansadharan by 3.20 hours, 12919 Indore-Jammu Tawi Malwa Express by 2.55 hours and 11058 Amritsar-Mumbai CST Express by 2.30 hours.
