Karnal: An international Hindi conference was organised at DAV PG College here on Tuesday. It was chaired by Dr Markandey Ahuja, Vice-Chancellor, Gurugram University. Experts of Hindi literature emphasised on saving Hindi and making it a global language. Saran Ghai, retired professor from the University of Toronto, said: “Hindi was made famous by Bhartendu Harishchandra and Amir Khusro. So we should pay respects to them and make efforts to communicate in Hindi.” TNS
