400 get degrees at convocation

As many as 400 students were awarded undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate degrees in engineering at the 8th convocation of Baddi-based Chitkara University on its campus today.

The awardees attired in traditional Himachali robes included 140 girls.

Renowned industrialists — Rajan Sethuraman, CEO, Latent Analytics, Kazutada Kobayashi, CEO & president, Canon India, Manjiri Patel Shinde, director HR and Talent Acquisition, Calsoft, Augustus GS Azariah, associate director, IBM, Gurmeet Singh, director, Barclays, Namit Suri, business partner, Human Resource, Stryke — were present at the event.

Besides, the university faculty and vice-chancellor Virender Kanwar were present at the event.
