All 5 dengue patients in Una outsiders: DC

UNA: With five dengue cases coming to light in Una, Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati on Thursday clarified that there was no need to panic as all these patients were from outside the district.

With five dengue cases coming to light in Una, Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati on Thursday clarified that there was no need to panic as all these patients were from outside the district.

He said two patients were from Mandi, one from Bilaspur and one each from Patiala and Jalandhar.

The DC called upon residents to maintain cleanliness, avoid stagnation of rain or drain water and manage waste properly to avoid the breeding of mosquitoes.

He appealed to health workers and others to spread awareness on the issue.
