8 Hamirpur students share NASA experience

“National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) taught us how miraculous our galaxy is,” said Tamanna, a student of Him Academy Public School who was part of an eight-member team that visited NASA recently.

A delegation of eight students, including Tamanna Chadha, Riya Sharma, Aaditi Singh Chauhan, Snayu Ghasta, Aaditi K Singh, Sudidhi, Simran and Vanshika Bali, of the school were on a 10-day educational tour to the USA recently. They said it was an experience of a lifetime.

Riya said the visit helped her develop an innovative and scientific approach towards life. Vanshika said learning about micro-gravity and space shuttle in greater detail was a great experience. Snayu said to see Mars through the virtual reality kit was a unique experience. They also visited the headquarters of the United Nations, International Court of Justice and the UN Secretariat.
