Srinagar: As many as 7,665 pilgrims paid obeisance at the Amarnath shrine on the 22nd day of the yatra on Thursday.

Wheelchair basketball players get certificates

Srinagar: Khursheed Ahmed Ganai, Adviser to Governor, on Thursday distributed certificates among wheelchair basketball players of the state who participated in a three-day training workshop. The Adviser was informed that the workshop was organised by Voluntary Medicare Society in collaboration with the Wheelchair Basketball Federation of India. More than 30 wheelchair basketball players completed their training during the workshop. The Adviser said physical activity, especially any form of sport, helped individuals face challenges and set new benchmarks for themselves. TNS
