Just a day before the Pulwama terrorist attack, T-Series unveiled Pakistani singer Atif Aslam’s new single Baarishein on YouTube. The song features Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor Nushrat Bharucha alongside Atif in the video. Baarishein crossed over a million views on YouTube within 5 hours of its release. However, T-Series has now unlisted the video owing to the terror attack in Pulwama district. Although the music channel hasn’t yet released an official statement on the same, Bhushan Kumar’s tweet summed up the company’s sentiment.

The tweet reads, “The attack on CRPF soldiers in Kashmir is extremely disturbing to say the least. There is no glory in this. Right now one can only think of the families of the martyred and pray for those injured soldiers who are fighting for their lives.” Earlier in 2016, IMPPA - Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association had passed a resolution to ban Pakistani artists from the industry in the wake of the Uri terror attack. However, Pakistani singers continued lending their voices for Bollywood films. Atif Aslam sang Dil Diyan Gallan for Tiger Zinda Hai and Jaane De for Qarib Qarib Singlle last year.
