How did you bag this show? 

Star Plus has been very supportive. They have always loved me, so they have always offered me great shows. Rajan Shahi sir had called me for this show.

What is so special about your character, Meenakshi? 

Meenakshi is a very righteous woman. She loves her family and it’s her priority, so that is the part I really like. 

How much do you relate to the character? 

I am a very family-oriented and disciplined person like Meenakshi. I pay equal attention to my family and work, so I do relate a lot to Meenakshi.

Who is your favourite co-star on set?

All are my favourite because I am very fortunate to have experienced co-stars.

What changes do you find in the industry over the years? 

The industry has become very professional; there is good content and actors. 

You have done films as well as TV, what difference do you find in these two mediums?

I am an actor and love to perform, so whether it’s TV or films I am okay with both the things. In a film, you live the character for two hours and in TV, you live the character for a number of years.
